The Institute is associated with one of the major university hospitals in the Barcelona area, the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, and, as part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus, coordinates the management and scientific strategy of the campus. Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is in charge of the interventional studies to modulate EDC exposure in sensitive populations (1000 days of early life and pre-puberty children). To do that, IGTP will assess the effectiveness of multicomponent strategies, the performance of biomarkers and evaluate if HYPIEND interventions are able to prevent some of the harmful health effects related to Hypothalamus Pituitary disruption.
