CONTRIBUTION TO HYPIEND
Radboud University is in charge of testing selected EDC mixtures using zebrafish (Danio rerio) as preclinical model and determining the impact of those mixtures on the hypothalamus-pituitary gland-axes. EDC effects will be determined in larvae, juvenile and adult fish using transgenic zebrafish models, behavioural assays and gene expression of stress, reproduction and thyroid axes marker genes.
