HYPIEND was represented at the XXVI AETOX Congress of Toxicology, held in Madrid from 17 to 19 June 2026, through the participation of project partner ProtoQSAR.
The biennial AETOX congress brought together researchers, academics and toxicology professionals to exchange advances across the discipline. Under the theme “Comprehensive Toxicology for a Safe Future,” the 2026 edition addressed topics ranging from chemical risk assessment to alternative methods and national and international regulation, with a broader One Health perspective.
Enrique Llobet and Vicente Aranda from ProtoQSAR attended the congress, where the company participated as a sponsor. HYPIEND project leaflets were made available at the ProtoQSAR stand, providing participants with information about the project’s objectives, research approach and work on endocrine-disrupting chemicals.
The materials introduced HYPIEND’s efforts to better understand the effects of EDC exposure and chemical mixtures on human health, with particular attention to vulnerable life stages, while combining computational methods, advanced experimental models and human studies.
