
On September 9, 2025, the ENKORE Cluster held its Annual Meeting in Leipzig, Germany, to share knowledge and highlight the main results achieved during its first year.
HYPIEND project acts as cluster coordinator together with partners from ENDOMIX in 2025. EURECAT researcher Dorota Komar presented cluster scientific strategy and work of several working groups. The cluster is a joint work of HYPIEND and other European initiatives including EDC-MASLD, ENDOMIX, MERLON, and NEMESIS.
The presentation covered the ENKORE Cluster’s goals and objectives, updates from the cluster projects, and work done so far on sharing knowledge, data, dissemination activities, including those directed to policymakers, work on Adverse Outcome Pathways and New Approach Methods,
The meeting served as an important platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange. Cluster members reported on progress made during the first year and showcased their main results. Discussions also looked ahead, focusing on shaping new regulations for endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) that reflect the latest scientific evidence generated across the projects.

Researchers Dorota Komar and Joan Serrano Lopez, from HYPIEND’s coordinator Eurecat, attended the event together with other project partners including Hospital Universitario La Fe (HULAFE), KTH Royal Institute of Technology, University of Geneva (UNIGE), Institut de Recerca Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP), and the Medical Centre for Postgraduate Education (CMKP).
By taking part in the ENKORE Cluster Annual Meeting, HYPIEND and its partners reinforced their commitment to advancing scientific knowledge, promoting collaboration across Europe, and contributing to evidence-based policymaking that protects both human health and the environment.
